The good news is that the flowers have been preserved!
Some new speed bumps have recently been installed. Not sure if this was the work of the Town or of the Masons.
Stopped by the ALMOST FINISHED Lexington Community Center this afternoon for my weekly look-see. Major progress, still some distance to go... Here are the photos I took by looking at the outside and looking into a couple of windows... [Slide your mouse over the photos to see captions. One of the last design features added to the Center was a new accessible entrance to the Mansion that preserved the architectural integrity of the original Sunroom exit. Some new speed bumps have recently been installed. Not sure if this was the work of the Town or of the Masons. Interior The Aerobic Exercise Room This was the most exciting development I saw today: a mostly completed aerobic exercise room in the lower level. The impact of the mirrors on the wall on the right is dramatic in making the room feel much bigger. In addition the hallway light that flows in from the windows the left wall make the room very bright and enjoyable. First Floor Dining Room / Large Multi-purpose Room All in all, I was encouraged by what I saw. There is still a lot of work to be done, but much of this finishing work happens quickly.
