The Lexington List
Hello,
I received your request to join the Lexington List.
I received your request to join the Lexington List.
Here are the steps to join the Lexington List:
- If you haven't already joined the Lexington List at groups.io please go to https://groups.io/g/lexington/ and submit a subscription request to join the Lexington List by clicking on the blue button with the label +Apply For Membership In This Group.
- After you have applied for membership, you will receive an email message asking you to go to the Lexington List Questionnaire to answer questions so that I can verify that you qualify to belong to the list. Note: You will not be added to the list unless you submit answers to these questions.
- Once I approve your membership, you will receive a message from groups.io confirming that your membership has been approved and you will start receiving posts to the list.
Background
The Lexington List is open to residents of Lexington, METCO families whose children attend Lexington Schools, and people who work for a Company or Organization at an office which is located in Lexington.
If you do not qualify to be a member, you can always read posts to the Lexington List at: The Lexington List is intended for conversations among the people described above about issues facing all of us who live, go to school or work in Lexington.
Please Note: The Lexington List is primarily not a place to try to sell things to the list subscribers.
There are several exceptions to this rule:
- Short announcements about infrequent yard sales are permitted.
- Individuals who occasionally find that they have tickets for an event they cannot attend are welcome to offer these for sale on the list.
- List members who operate small businesses may send a limited number (2 per year), of very modest announcements (no large graphics, or long messages) about their desire to sell a product or offer a service to list members.
All messages must be signed with the user's full name: no anonymous messages or messages from email addresses where the author is not clearly identified are allowed.
Thanks for your interest in joining the Lexington List!
Regards,
